Case study: Caerphilly Observer

The Caerphilly Observer was launched by one person, Richard Gurner, initially working hundreds of miles away from the community it serves.

Moving back to Caerphilly he now runs the site from his home and has grown it from a web only news operation into a fortnightly newspaper – with a significant readership. Here he explains the journey he has been on and the responsibility he now feels towards his community.
