ICNN and C4CJ welcome the recommendations of the Cairncross Report.

A recent Inquiry into hyperlocal journalism recommended that the Welsh Government should formally support local news journalism as a strategic priority. The Welsh Government have commissioned a survey to explore the make-up of the sector and to examine ways to support the sector in Wales.
If you run, work for or are a contributor to a community and/or hyperlocal news publication/platform in Wales, we would very much appreciate your feedback (please check with your publication to make sure this has not already been completed by another member of your team). Please do not complete if your publication is not in Wales.
Click here to begin or complete the survey below.
The survey is also available in Welsh. Just click here.
If you have any questions or queries about the project or the questionnaire, please contact Faith Graham on 01952 728047 or by email faith@redboxresearch.co.uk. Alternatively, please contact Matt Abbott on 07896567439 or by email abbottm2@cardiff.ac.uk.
