Centre for Community Journalism is starting work in Treorchy to establish a new hyperlocal in partnership with National Theatre Wales, who are in residency in the Park and Dare Theatre during October. Want to know how you can get involved? Read on…

Are you interested in local news and views?  Do you feel that there should be more of a local voice in the Rhondda? Have you got a talent or a yearning for writing; filming or taking photos; digital media; or for knowing what’s going on and wanting to share it? Would you like to be part of a new venture to create news and information for your community? Volunteer hands - small 271x271

Cardiff University’s Centre for Community to Journalism is here to help. We’ll provide the training, development and support. You connect the community and tell the stories.

Our first meeting takes place on Thursday 10 October, 6 – 7pm. If you are interested in finding out more or in being part of a team of committed and passionate community journalists, give Emma or Hannah a call on 029 208 70101, or email Emma at meesee@cf.ac.uk or Hannah at scarbroughh1@cf.ac.uk.
