Training

Cardiff University's School of Journalism,
Media and Cultural Studies is the top
rated NCTJ training centre in the UK

We are opening up this expertise to provide short courses and bespoke training and development for community and hyperlocal journalists and for commercial and public organisations.

We use our expertise to run a range of high quality, good value for money training and development opportunities. Our trainers are amongst the best in the UK and can provide bespoke support as well as standard master classes and training days. We make no profit from this work. The money we raise from running courses for private and public sector organisations goes straight back into supporting independent community and hyperlocal journalism with training, support, guidance and resources.

To find out more about the range of training we offer, please email
Centre Manager Emma Meese on [email protected].
